Spinning Pole

So… after shying away from spin mode for ages, I finally gave it another go last week.

I’ve been on spin mode before, but I hated it. I’d get nauseous and everything hurt more and felt so unstable. The stupid thing would stop spinning after a few moves anyway, or it would spin too fast when I just wanted it to stop.

Buuuut it’s not so bad now. I mean, yes it’s painful, I still have a bruise from the knee hold, but I actually find it easier to grip on spin mode, and everything looks more graceful. My side climb looks more like a side climb and less like a spider crossed with an elephant.

It still doesn’t spin when I want it to though… any advice on that? I know you’re supposed to keep your body into the pole to make it go faster but it doesn’t seem to work >.<
